Welcome to Most Holy Rosary Parish!
Faith and History Served to Generations
Founded as a parish in 1915, Most Holy Rosary Church has long been a spiritual anchor for Syracuse’s west side. The current Romanesque-style church building, completed in 1927 with its iconic twin towers, stands as a symbol of enduring faith and community. For more than a century, the parish has welcomed families, supported spiritual growth, and remained a constant source of hope, service, and tradition.

Worship, Ministries & Community Life
Most Holy Rosary Church offers a full schedule of Masses, sacraments, and parish ministries for children, teens, adults, and families. From faith formation and youth programs to outreach groups, pastoral care, and community gatherings, the parish provides many opportunities to deepen faith and live out the Gospel. Whether you are new to the parish or a lifelong member, MHR offers a warm, active community where everyone can find a place to belong.
Engaged Community & Local Partnerships
The parish is deeply rooted in serving others—both within the church community and throughout the greater Syracuse area. Most Holy Rosary encourages volunteerism, charitable work, and outreach initiatives that support local needs. The parish also shares a strong partnership with Most Holy Rosary School and the MHR Foundation, working together to strengthen faith formation, education, and community engagement. This shared mission helps ensure that faith and service remain at the heart of parish life
